Are live-in relationships to be encouraged in India?

Live in relationships are very prominent among other Western Countries and is slowly setting its trend in India as well. It is the case where unmarried people get to live together and share everything between them. Once the relationship goes a long way, it could wnd in marriage, otherwise it lands up in splitsville.

A lot of people feel that the live in relationship is a good thing in India, as people get to know about the person pretty well before marriage or before taking any major decisions. But this might be a good idea in the west and not in India, according to the others. The reason they feel is that in US, men and women are balanced and judged the same, unanimously, which is not the case in India. Our India has just adopted a few policies of the West and not completely transformed into the West. This is both the home of modern trend setters as well as traditional democrats who keep opposing everything. Personal life has got no major issues in the West. People think about how to overcome the Global Warming instead of wondering about the neighbours next door sharing a live in relationship in the West. The same policy can be adopted here, if and only if the protesters vanish. The reason for saying this is due to the fact that eventually, the womenfolk would fall into trouble and not the men, in India. In fact, certain unruly men consider this as the perfect chance to have multiple partners and also take offensive evidences of the girls to blackmail them later on. Considering so many political, economical and personal issues which are absent in the West, it is mandatory that live in relationships must not be encouraged in India.
