Hcg
Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin is very commonly referred to as the HCG and has been misunderstood by many people. An oral HCG is given orally in the form of drops in order to reduce obesity, whereas the sublingual HCG is placed right underneath the tongue and it is allowed to absorb.
The HCG is naturally secreted by the placenta, and is also found in the urine of pregnant women. The HCG has several side effects on the gonads which are nothing but the testicles or ovaries. It has been found to have several therapeutic properties as well on deadly diseases such as sarcoma, asthma, glaucoma, cancer and so on.
Generally HCG comes in two forms namely injected HCG and oral HCG. People went to varying levels to adopt any sort of remedial measures for obesity. Injections are traditionally effective, but care must be taken why adopting an oral HCG. In an oral HCG, a complex protein hormone is introduced into the body. But the disadvantage is that any protein taken orally ends up being digested by the acids and the enzymes in the stomach. Therefore an oral HCG has very little chance of solving the purpose and being effective if it is digested.
A sublingual HCG is placed underneath the tongue and allows the mucous membrane of the tongue to absorb the protein found in it. The main criterion for the sublingual HCG to be effective is the fact that it must be a replica of the injected HCG and must mimic its effectiveness. The sublingual HCG must be mixed with sterile water similar to its injected counterpart. Generally 5 drops of sublingual HCL are administered each day.
